Generative AI as it’s defined as the latest. Form of artificial intelligence. Has emerged recently that shocked the world. I would say the most important distinction of this way of the artificial intelligence with the previous ones was that this time the technology is is affecting much more people. In larger scale, just imagine changeivity. Now the number of people that in my life have heard or using cheerivity is so huge from my mom, from my dad that comes from the 3rd world country that hurt it and pretty much everywhere. Now this technology is essentially has been built upon the old knowledge of the people we gather. Essentially, essentially generative AI is something that. ’s a collaborative or cumulative of our knowledge. Human knowledge that has been gathered, has been computed and was formed as a new tools. So it is it comes from our, our, our our deep knowledge, our deep things. Because if you look at how this technology build, this is built on all the knowledge. Next Internet that we human building now I would say that this technology is. From some perspective, has. Affected many lives and. The goal of this technology, honestly, is not to replace the human, or it should be, neither that it is to put a danger in the human. But like any technology, the goal of this one. Would be how it can improve the life of the human. That is how the technology is. Think about 100 years ago just traveling from one country to another country with the horses. It would take days. It’s just waste of so much resources. Now, the airplane just making that process enjoyable. It makes a human life better. Think about Internet If we just want to talk with our parents, we need to do travels. But now with the power of the vehicle call. Can just have a connection, they have a video connection. So it means that it just we can just talk it just our life is improved and how our life is improved is that the way we experience our life through this technology has improved our lives. So that’s a technology should have a net positive effect on the life of the people. Now given this, I would say that the question that I see a little bit missing is that. What are the ways that this technology can help our human lives? How? And I think here’s the point that I want to focus on that how generative technology can improve the life of the humans. Now I’m going to structure in the four different ways and I think. For each of these I’m giving some anecdotal examples that I think. It’s. I hope that it will support it. Let’s go with first. The first is. This technology should automate a lot of knowledge worker task we do in our personal life. So think about this, the work that we go at 9 o’clock come back at 3:00, that work should be meaningful. I think. I think all the people in the world deserve or at least strive to do a meaningful work. So that’s it. That’s a common ground. Now some people are argue that, for example. I just want the simple, simple work. I don’t want to be creative or I don’t want to do the things that I enjoy, but I think that’s the excuse that person hasn’t found it. Let me give you some example. Who on the earth likes to extract the data from the PDF and put it in the excel, excel and deliver to the boss as manager? I mean this type of work or who wants to? Read the invoice and then extract that invoice and put it in the excel file and give us report. Look these type of works is so crushing because you don’t feel that I mean you feel that anybody can do it. So the work doesn’t provide a space for you to do a creative things. So that the generated AI can can automate it so that that person can work on the on the task that is that delivery is more impacted life to deliver more in the value of life. Think about this example that. You need to make I think about this example that the employee wants to needs to fill out the form for the standard form of the some equipment is a part of the HSP program. But if you if you just if you just give us some instruction what you’re searching for and then just give it the AI engineer the template which is 80% of higher. So you can just do this test faster because there’s no creativity, there’s nothing that is enjoyable in this process. So the first idea is that how we can automate the sun process in the. In the in the work of the human, work of human which is not enjoyable and save at that time so that they can work on something more creative, they will come work on something that is more impact, right. So that’s a pressure. The 2nd one is that user generated AI for the things that human. Don’t do what they want. So let me give an example. Let’s see that you you want to you are the technical officer, you have a technical, you are the finance officer of your organization and what you want to do that you want to look at the invoice of the 1000 sales invoice that you received that automatically is not recorded, but it’s a paper, but you want to just scan all of them and get the distribution overview of the how this. How this invoice what was the most cost in your organization? What was the most costly? Item. I mean you can parse and read the one 1000 invoice that comes every month, it’s impossible. So this is a type of a test that human cannot do no matter how many employees just are scalable or capacity. But the generator, I can do that one and then they can give a report. That it’s insightful can improve the process. So the second category is not that you maintain you, it’s something that you men cannot do. And then with that one you go to the 3rd 1. So the Fairpoint that I think that the the human can improve their life is using this generated AI as a personal advisor and the coach we all need as someone that talk with us to the brainstorming tool. I mean some people are getting the brainstorming tool tool, so they can just take a pen and paper and sort of writing about it. But some paper, some people are not good, but that’s a that’s a very good way of that you can use the generative AI as a brainstorming tool. So that it can come up with a new idea and and what’s the point of this one is that what’s the point of advisory coach is that it brings so much to give a better direction and I think I can do that one. So let me give an example. In our personal life sometime in the morning I wake up and I want to do workout. I have two tools in my house. The one is you can just do a push up with those. So I pull up off and as you generate the AI, can you give me the. Simple workout in 30 minutes that helps me to have AV shaped body. I love AV shaped body for as a man but then it just can come up this same things and this is it’s just impossible to do that this one this is this is not this is not something that we can do before or let me give another example. Sometime I will just want to talk with my Norwegian friend. I receive a message in Norwegian and you know II need to understand something for sometime when you want to learn the. Learn the context. You know. To talk in the Norwegian language you need to learn a context and then give you the sentences and say what’s a context of this text? What is something that is just. What’s the context of this one? And then it can provide context and it just give it. Let me give 3rd example. So this is something that the I’m just writing this one with recording my voice. This is technology was not before. So here is that more. As advisor and the coach thinks that is something that I thought is very useful useful on to do that. So the two example was was a Norwegian language teacher or another was coach and advisor. The 4th thing that is very important is that. It’s a, it’s a tool for decision making actually. I mean, think about the decision making. The one factor that the people making wanted to make a decision is that they need to come up with objectives. So because you need to have a values, if you don’t know your values, then you just simply. You can’t. You can’t. You can’t achieve, you can’t achieve, you can’t achieve what you want without knowing what you want like in the sentences. So now here is that let’s say I want to buy a bicycle right? And then what? So now this is the example that is more. It just makes a decision, so two parts. The first part is that how to make a decision how to how to come up with a list of objective so you don’t say this typical things that I wish I knew that before so. You have a better answer and the second one is that degenerating the creative alternative. Let’s say you want to you want to specify that you want to find your job, which is a 3 purposes which is provide for creativity. 3rd is that we provide. The provided creativity but then you come up with these are my life career objective. This is my note to start that I want to achieve what are the. Of the things that I can search, so then you can come up with that for example, it’s a new alternative. So in conclusion is that I think this generator AI is a huge opportunity. I think I’m quite bullish and that one because the capacity but of course it comes from all of its own challenges. I mean II don’t, I don’t, I don’t find it. I mean it. It comes from all of his challenges. Just name it. It’s the one typical example is that nondeterministic, the output of large language model. If you change it, it just you input perturbation to the input, you change the output. Another problem is that sometimes it’s a hallucination. It just you just get a response, it looks crap. It’s not crap or sometimes it’s just you know that you can or when you do use the writing, use the writing is that you you don’t have a loss of human touch. So those are the kind of the area that I think is a challenge of the generative. AI and it should be really careful but in not positive. I think this technology is positive. I think if it’s used properly, if we educate our children how to use it in a better way, I think it’s I see a huge opportunity that this technology can can have.
